How about " I feel great - where is the next marathon?" You'll feel great pretty soon!

All the very best.

Usually a 'Bypass' allows you to stick the right foot to the floor and have a blast so I would expect nothing less of your experience.

As long as they don't put it into your bloodstream! Good luck, I'm sure it will be fine.

Thank you all for the kind words and wishes. As many have said these procedures are pretty straightforward so all should be fine.
Have a good Christmas one and all

Ken, best wishes on the op. Having been through similar earlier this year I am sure you will be fine, I would recommend you get on and attend the cardiac rehab classses locally after you have recovered from the op. Usually 6-8 weeks after, but depending on your local NHS can a bit of a battle to get referred on. I found it invaluable in re-building fitness, confidence and finding my personal limitations after.

All the best.

I met up with young Adrian earlier this week and whatever exercises he is doing, must be working as he looks very well.
Not sure of my fitness though, having consumed some of Sue's delicious home made mince pies.
