Hello All I have recently replaced my old 1993 four seater with a modern one, 2010 model. The battery has died and attempts to charge it via the starter motor lead as suggested by the Morgan Garage have failed. Can anyone please give me some pointers as to how to access the battery on this car. I suppose it is possible that one of the connections to the terminals is loose, but if not I will need to replace it. My old car had a handy hatch to get to the battery under the back seats. This one doesn't seem to have one. Cheers Phil

Hi, There are two Allen key bots at the back of the seat base. To access these you fold the seat down where you will see about 5 buttons which you need to undo. You then push the fabric under the seat back to reveal the bolts. You then undo the bolts and slide the seat base forward under the seat belt mounts.
The battery should be behind the driver..
The above is for a 2007 4 seater but it should be the same for a 2010 one. Sorry it's not the easiest to explain but hopefully the above will help.
Out of interest, do you find the car bottoms out over bumps with passengers in the back seats?
Thanks Will
Thanks Will

Hi Will Thanks for that. I will investigate later today. Bottoming out. Yes and on some bumps you don't even need rear seat passengers. I try to go over them with one wheel on each half of the bump if there is a gap in the middle. Better than the old 1993 model though.

Hi Will Job done and with your help it only took a few minutes. It was the original battery and it was beyond help. Why can't Morgan put such basic information as battery location in the Owner's Handbook? My handbook helpfully tells me where the battery is on the two seater! Many thanks again.
