My 1961 Plus 4 is home at last and I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty.
I have a few questions for the experienced members on this very useful forum.

1. What is the best underbody protection medium to use? (thinking mainly of the rear wheel arch woodwork)

2. Any advice available regarding converting LHD to RHD?

3. Which company to use for spare parts?

4. Which company to use for re-chroming existing parts?

5. Can anyone suggest where I could take a good look at a '61 plus 4 so that I can see how things go together? This my first time working on a Morgan.

I am sure I will have many more Q's to ask as the year progresses and I thank you in advance if you are able to help with advice.

Nev.

You need a Mentor. Suggest You check out Your Local Morgan Club and find somebody that might be able to help. If You lived by Me I probably could keep You informed about most issues. Unfortunately I live in Seattle. I do have and have had Mentors for the 35 years I have been with Morgans.

There may be LinMog members who can help you.

There is a DonMog member who has recently restored a +4 of similar vintage. If you are an MSCC member, come along to the next Noggin - 18th January - PM me for full details.

Melvyn Rutter purchased a load of old Plus 4 stuff from the Factory some time ago. He still has considerable stocks.
Otherwise Gee for chassis, Billy Bellinger for moss box stuff etc etc, see ads in Miscellany.

There used to be a Dulux Woodsheen EBONY oil based . If you can find one grab it . Several coats and use 000 steel wool in between coats and white spirit on a lint free duster . 4 coats and its like a sheet of steel against the rain etc.

Hi Nev,
You dont mention what state your car is in i.e complete or disassembled. l have a 1957 plus4 on the road which may benifit you to see and a 1970 4/4 in bits that i am rebuilding from which you can see how the "the hidden " bits fit together.
I am in cleethorpes Lincolnshire.
Send me a pm with your phone number and I will ring you if you want.
The beauty of the older Morgan is that they are simple and everything bolts together.
I don't profess to be an expert and certainly not a mentor but if I you think I can help in any way feel free to ask.

Addicted to Morgans. 44 years and still not cured.
