Talk Morgan Forums Community The Malvern Arms Morgan Car News

I have been working on ways for members to keep in touch with the Talk Morgan site, and the information on it, and wanted to reveal what I have nearly finished.

I know many people like rapid access to information and the ability to dip in and out of the site when they have a few spare minutes; therefore, I have created a news and information site dedicated to Morgan sports cars, information from the factory and the enthusiasts community. This site can be found at Morgan Car News. The site will not only detail the news from MMC, and all the special automobiles they produce, but also chronicle the most informative posts on Talk Morgan.

To accompany the site I have also started a Twitter account and an RSS feed. Both of these are are accessible via the Morgan sports car information site and should aid those who like to have instant updates regarding what is happening in the world of Morgan cars (and this site).

The Morgan Car News is not the finished article - the designers are still finishing some of the design flourishes (the top graphic will change as you view the site and there are some other minor tweaks); however, it will be completed over the next week.

Once I have finished they design of the Morgan Car News, this style will be carried over to the update of Talk Morgan (my next project).

I hope that both The Morgan Car News and the Twitter account will allow those people who are pressed for time to keep up with the site and dip into the information as and when they have time to view it. Furthermore, the Morgan Car News will be extended (in the weeks and months to come) to become a constantly growing archive of some of the more helpful and useful posts on Talk Morgan (think of it as a growing, dynamic "How To" and FAQ" on all things Morgan, which is interactive and not static). These pages are already under construction behind the scenes.

I am concious that many people have their preference set to view only the posts from the past 12-months and therefore, this ever increasing archive should become a record that is easy to access and become a valuable resource.

Thank you for all the comments. My goal is to make the site, and community surrounding it, as accessible as possible. Looking at the usage patterns of the site, we have many people who use it multiple times daily, others who use it once a day and a group who use the site 3-4 times a week. The rolling news and Twitter feed (for noteworthy events), should benefit all types of users.

This site is a community, so I am always open to constructive opinions on how to better it.
