I used a very small length of slightly larger bore hose that fitted over the pipe and rolled it back over the lip to hold it tight.

Sorry, had a sudden vision of a rabbi then!

I replaced with old style Mini washer hose & used cable ties. Take the dash off as discussed earlier.
I also replaced the T piece by a new one as mine was splitting.

I covered the PCB for the 4 dials & switched with some scrap leather to stop any leaks causing short circuits.

You can find small hose clips by motorbike dealers like this:

https://www.la-becanerie.com/scooter/car...ssence-3x6.html

I use small sections of brass tube as clip, pushed over the hose at the junction with the T. You can find small brass tubes in different diameters by model shops, generally used to join the wings of glider models.

Have a look at the black hose of the carburetor picture:

Thank you for all your replies. It seems that replacing the capillary pipes to the nozzle is sensible with subsequent securing via lock wire. (I tried the zip ties but the softness and size of the capillary and lack of a decent length of flange rendered this ineffective).

As always then it beggars belief how Morgan could sell cars with such poor engineering but that isn’t a topic we have enough space for!

Oh, you'll find the pipes have been discussed more than once on here... smile

I had a 2009 +4. The washer tubes split inside 6 months and were replaced under warranty. Luckily didn't get on the electrics. Better to replace with something more robust. The tube costs virtually nothing but mmc still saw an opportunity to save a few pence.

Yes this a serious quality control issue. The Liquorice tube description is very apt. Mine was replaced by myself several years ago with Neoprene model aircraft fuel tubing. Very flexible and will remain so without perishing. If not caught soon enough serious damage occurs to the electrics - I have just had to have the lcd on the speedo replaced by the Carbeont Factory £50.
The dash is only held in place with three woodscrews and simple to remove. (2008 4/4) First remove undertray then adjust steering wheel to lowest position.

4 screws 2006 roadster. Two visible at each end, then 2 hidden by the leather dash roll above the central gauges.

either lower or remove the wheel. Place a tea towel on the cowl to "catch" the dash , turn off the power & unscrew.

Take a photo of all the wires in case some come loose.

Even I can do it!
