That is a very good question! It seems from my correspondence with Quaife in July 2014 that the dodgy substance, whatever it was, was installed at the factory without consulting Quaife. The MMC did not wish to discuss it at the time and I strongly doubt that there has been a policy change on that!

There must be several people connected with the factory who know the answer.

Had a feeling that might be the answer!

I have ordered a bottle of the transmission variety of this Prolong stuff. Heres hoping the thermocouples will report back a drop in temp. If not its gets flushed ASAP.
