I flew my J3 into Pioneer a couple of times, nicest grass strip anywhere. Would love to photograph my M3W in front of the Peitenpol hanger, My father built one, which I test flew. Drooling over that Les Paul guitar photo.....

Actually thought I would put a color version up, as I like the maple board color associating with the ash frame!

That beautiful curly maple is on the back as well.

I know this is off topic with no M3W and no guitar and no scotch, however the Peitenpol hanger is the small one to the right and behind the flying service hanger

Draggin, you definitely have raised the bar! That Guild is one of my personal favorites, also like the microphone/car/garage/outfit set up.

Draggin, is that an ES-175?

That Gibson was an ES-295, the same body as a 175, but with gold hardware and the same powdered bronze finish as the "Gold Top" Les Paul. Scotty Moore made the the 295 famous 29 1955 with Elvis. Was a life long dream to own one. Had it 25 years, But my arthitis and carpal tunnel made me sell it after not playing it for 10 years. Same for all my other musical equipment that has to go.
