[ Lovely picture of a gum tree Peter. Great to see some mogs out along with a Holden or two. Disappointed not to see a kookaburra sitting in the ol' gum tree mind you. Bl@@dy noisy things. Miss bird song!

Just spent my first Australia day in Aus, they sure know how to enjoy themselves. On a separate note how does the suspension on Mogs stand up to the rough roads here, at present driving a rental that's more like a pogo stick to drive and a bit worried how the Morgan suspension will survive. We are in Adelaide area.

We are in Adelaide area. My father had the same thought in 1948 at the Earls Court motor show where he ordered an MG instead of a Morgan. He was more concerned about the wooden frame than the suspension. Except for country dirt roads I don't think Australian roads are any worse than some of the roads around the UK. If your rental is like a pogo stick it is more likely that the dampers are not up to the job than the suspension itself.

On that kind of road the trick is to go fast enough to float over the corrugations. Most people who are not accustomed to driving on dirt roads go too slow. About 120 clicks on that one should be fine

I took one 90 degree bend around a field boundary a bit too fast and felt the rear slide but nothing major and just smiles from ear to ear. Took a long time to remove dust and small stones but what fun.
