I've always understood the difference between Goodridge and Aeroquip to be that Goodridge fittings are crimped onto the braided hoses using a special hydraulic crimping tool
Aeroquip/Euroquip and the various clones use a nut and olive to secure the fitting to the hose.
I've used both types in the past but prefer Aeroquip/Euroquip as it saves the crimping cost!
