I've just placed my annual £10 bet on England becoming 6 Nations Champions and could get no better than evens!! I've also placed my annual £10 on England beating Wales!! (1/2)
However for TM rugby fans that fancy a flutter.
The current odds are
England 10/11 Ireland 5/2 Wales 9/1 France 14/1 Scotland 25/1 Italy 500/1
I have not managed to get tickets for any of the main England matches, though I will be going to watch England U20s v France U20s at Sandy Park on Saturday.
Went to watch England at Twickenham last year. From my point of view a complete rip off. Tickets were priced above average for six nations games and the cost of food and drink inside the ground was somewhat excessive.
From my perspective, Cardiff is a much better venue, well organised and better value for money.
Takes me about an hour less to drive to Cardiff from Huntingdon than get to Twickenham on the train, and a much better atmosphere.

Looks like the best championship for years, with the added spice of bonus points.
England should win the tournament. Any of the rest could come second - except Italy.
Looking forward to it

England should win it, but Ireland are looking pretty formidable too; I certainly rate Scotland under Vern Cotter. They have been playing some pretty good rugby and have some real talent in the squad; their lack of depth on the bench will remain a problem, but i think they will likely cause an upset or two. France have only two home fixtures, and more to the point, meet England and Ireland away. In the autumn tests, Wales seemed to be stumbling, repeating what happened the last time Gatland took on the Lions job and Rob Howley took over.
So.....to stick my neck out I predict the outcome will be
1 England 2 Ireland 3 Wales 4 Scotland 5 France 6 Italy.
I agree with Scrambledsignals in many ways about Twickenham vs Cardiff. The Millennium stadium is a really great sporting venue. The fact that it's in the centre of town makes it even better, you can just wander out of the pub and into the ground. Twickenham however is right out on it's own, and unless you've got friends with a Range Rover full of beer in the car park it's not such a fun place. They're both miles better than the Stade de France mind you. How I miss the Parc des Princes.
On the pricing, however, if they are managing to fill the stadium, the cost of tickets is probably OK; just look at how much people are prepared to pay for a ticket on the black market.

Don't disagree about Twickenham, but it is the home of English Rugby and where I want to watch England play, plus it's the whole day out, not just the match and stadium experience, arrive several hours early, squeeze into the Cabbage Patch, drink beer, sing songs, eat hog roast - what's not to like...

I agree. Been to many of the stadiums but my favourite always was Cardiff both as Arms Park and now Millenium. Its the Welsh supporters down from the valleys with their brilliant humour that make it.
I do agree about the location of the stadium at Cardiff. Being in the centre of the city makes for a great atmosphere. I had access to tickets in my working days and really enjoyed some of the matches, especially Wales v Ireland - huge fun.
I do love Twickenham though. HQ! I never seem to be lucky with England tickets though. We did go to the Premiership Final last year (Exeter Chiefs v Saracens) and although Chiefs were beaten, it was a fun weekend. The majority of the 72,000 seemingly having West Country accents. Great atmosphere.
Picture shows the Chief's mascot trying to make off with the trophy, prior to kick off.
