Almost Springy today, except for ta somewhat bracing wind.
And only the third time out this year.

Twas a 20 mile round trip to see Mark Middleton and book Archie in for a Mulfab suspension upgrade at the end of March for :

hard chrome kingpins
phosphor bronze bushes (I have plastic)
steering bearings and main springs
brake reaction bars
SPAX dampers front and rear

I hope all of this makes a noticeable difference; I'll let you know the outcome.

Lovely warm sunny day , went with swmbo to pick up some of her stuff that had been made at local curtain place and realised again if I didn't already know that this Mog has limited space , but did get everything in !

Yes! After nine weeks of cold, snow and salt the Morgan was finally started and driven 10 miles on damp roads with light rain and hood down. Amusing for the locals but necessary to get the engine warmed for an oil change. I know, should have done it before the winter lay-up but as usual I was too busy driving it and then suddenly it was too cold. Oil and filter changed, kingpins greased, tank full; bring on the spring.

Had a trip down to Oakmere today, so around 100 miles in total.

The weather looked questionable before leaving so left the hood up.

Returning the skies looked fine so took the hood off to enjoy the breeze. However, the rain started roughly half way home, which in itself Is okay, but the cars now filthy, wet and covered in salt. ooo

Not happy putting it away in that condition with little chance of cleaning it for good while. frown2

Still, it was good to blow the cobwebs away drive

A pleasant 37 mile round trip to Calke. Added bonus that they had the private apartment rooms open today for the first ever time.

First drive since Christmas (shame on me hide). Took 4/4 into the New Forest to look at a used car for the kids to learn to drive in. Rain held off

Feeling a bit grumpy today. Drove the Morgan to work just as dawn was breaking, fairly misty and foggy, with enough dozy commuters about to prevent any tomfoolery.

Now I'm sat in the office with hours of meetings and teleconferences ahead of me and it's looking lovely outside.

Hey ho..
