To follow up on my question on the 4/4 sport rollbar a quick update of what I found so far;
I contacted Techniques, they have a rollbar that fits the easy-up hood (but higher/more substantial than the Librands) picture on their site.

But they were not the supplier to Morgan for the 4/4s bar.
I asked the Dutch importer to check if Morgan still supply the Rollbar for the 4/4s, waiting for a reply.
Also contacted Melvyn R, (safetydevices eqt?) He says that Morgan made the roll-bars for the 4/4s in house, which I found surprising. MR also confirmed that the 4/4 sport rollbar is not at all compatible with the easy-up hood because it interferes with the hood frame.
Tempted to go for the Techniques bar, but would like to see it in a car first to check head clearance an overall looks. I might drive up as soon as the salt is washed off the roads.

The Aero Racing Rollbars were made exclusively for MMC by Andy Robinson Racing

For those that don't know, Andy Robinson is on the advisory council for the MSA with regards to rollover bars and is a long time Pro Mod Drag racing champion (low 6 second 1/4 mile runs.... )
He's just about to dip his toes into historic circuit racing in a beautifully patinaed Studebaker

I've known him for over 20 years and his and his team's workmanship is second to none

The 4/4 competition roll over bar was made by Safefy devices, they came with either single diagonal or twin diagonal bracing.

I know this as I ran one our 4/4 completion and it came from the factory.
