I saw that Lotus go off the track.
It was very scary not only for the driver but the spectator footpath runs right where the car came off. Now made even more secure BTW.
My times at Prescott in my Jedi 500 were high 40s best run 48.3 from memory .
Last week I found my records for 1992. I came second in the 500cc Nationals.

Not that it really matters, but the Prescott video I saw was more like 62-63 secs. If you really want to see what can be done, I am sure Mike Meredith could come up with something in his much modified +8, but to encourage new participants I think it may be more encouraging to see what can be done in a standard road car.

Well done for the site update. The old site was long overdue for modernising and not pleasant to use. I suspect that was a bit of an off-putter for many. When joining the Morgan World I found that this was a factor but other sites like Morganatica, Mogtalk, Gomog and TM all offered variants to help. Gomog proved very good for tech/maintenance/repair info. TM just became a great relaxed ( mainly!) place to enjoy. A good place for info, banter, help, even controversy! It is also a place where non MSCC people can come together. I hope the MSCC is starting down a route that will draw members in and back.

Peter, having done a number of hill climbs in anger as you know a sub 60 second run up Prescott in most Morgans would be a challenge, not impossible
54 sec in a standard +4 in 2008 along with standard 4/4's also sub 60 sec!

I am confused, so is this now effectively the MSSC forum? No - I've never been a member in 13 years of Morganing but I gather they have something called MogTalk. TM has been provided as an associated link but totally devoid of MSCC is my understanding. We have links to most forums we know about, and Mogtalk is not an MSCC mouthpiece either, but funded by VinMog as you will see if you can find the thread

Nice one Gill - good to see the links with the clubs and TM starting to build which for me is an essential part of the tapestry. The TM forum and both MTWC and MSCC clubs compliment the whole morgan owning experience, on top of which and for sure they are uniquely different.
