I thought about a Tesla, but the payments are roughly double, and I only spend c. £150 per month on fuel, so a bit too much for me. Although with the 100% tax write down it would even out.

The seats in the S90 are very comfy, but not in the old Volvo "arm chair" soft style. They are very firm, but with the seat base extension (£350) that also includes pneumatic lumber support, they are excellent. Chuffed to bits with it.

Bit of a price hike there though!

Tesla may be nice but completely useless for long distance driving. I need a car for business trips to reach odd places on short notice without problems. can not plan my life related to few loading points. 600miles a day should be no problem for a modern car.
Drove some Volvos in the 80's and they all were reliable transport.

Looking at the Geneva show reports one of the most relevant and interesting also seems to be the new mid-SUV from Volvo. They have announced the XC-60 and it looks rather good. I am not into SUV's in general but some of them seem to be eroding my eternal pessimism about them. They are clearly here to stay.

Trying to get good forward vision (through the car ahead) used to be blocked by vans now it is the vast boot and size of SUV's as well. Blah.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I'm not a fan of them either, but the SUV tide is rising inexorably.

The XC60 looks very similar to the Jaguar F-Pace to me eyes. I'm sure it'll sell well.
