I was looking at that as well, the seller has a lot of other "classics" for sale as well and they may be all genuine but it did make me wonder.

Times are hard. It may be someone who is desperate to sell a collection or perhaps the estate of someone that is being sold off. Is it this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1947-MORGAN-4-...N-/232262075674 I put in a bid just out of curiosity. So as at this moment I am actually the highest bidder at the time of posting this. I don't expect to win it but if I did I wouldn't cry. I am however a bit put off by the sellers payment terms and I would want an inspection to make sure it is actually as advertised before putting down any cash. We are not talking about a steering wheel or a packet of nuts and it does take more 24 hours to organise payment and collection.

This car went £17200 first time. When you look closly it needs some work on the paintwork. The engine is a non runner, and its Standard [which would be correct for its age] not Climax. Theres a good chance the first winner changed his mind.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Link: www.ebay.co.uk/itm//232262075674 DVLA says it's not taxed for road use and no MOT (not that it needs one). Both the item description and the DVLA say it is colour MAROON. I'd be wary of the description but it's not one of the obvious scams. Clearly needs work but could still be a real bargain.

Oooh! I like the registration! It even has my age (well, the first two digits). Is the price for real or is there something of the sea about it?

If DVLA are showing the reg number as current, it may have been transferred when the vehicle was exported as the listing appears to say that all the paperwork is there to get it UK registered. It only says that the original UK plate is with the car.....

To me it seems unregistered honest car that could make a fun project for the right price. The photos seem to match the description and condition is "loved".

I'm no longer the highest bidder. Phew!!!!
It would have been a bit complex for me anyway.
