Times are hard. It may be someone who is desperate to sell a collection or perhaps the estate of someone that is being sold off. Is it this one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1947-MORGAN-4-...N-/232262075674 I put in a bid just out of curiosity. So as at this moment I am actually the highest bidder at the time of posting this. I don't expect to win it but if I did I wouldn't cry. I am however a bit put off by the sellers payment terms and I would want an inspection to make sure it is actually as advertised before putting down any cash. We are not talking about a steering wheel or a packet of nuts and it does take more 24 hours to organise payment and collection. Screams scam to me caveat emptor

If it was such a good cheap buy why is it on the market again so soon ? - it smells to me I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
This should be more like £30K + stc.

So DVLA says it is Maroon! Not taxed, not registered in U.K. First registered 1947. Avoid.

Interesting in his description he says the colour is 'Beige Maroon'
I think the only offputting info is his payment demands - £1000 deposit via PayPal and then collection & balance in 24 hours is rediculous and out of eBay rules
A buyer has 3 days from an auction ending to contact the seller to make arrangement

Looks like it has had a lot of wood replacement work done. Has a lot of crosshead screws showing which I assume were not standard in 1947

You can't help admiring the optimism of the early bidder who 11 times increased his bid by £30 and finally dropped out when it reached £390.
It's now at £14,900 with an hour to go before the snipers hit.

Surely you would want to see the car b4 final bid?
Maybe not from overseas.
