Has anybody tried the Toyo 330 in 165/80x15?
Need to change tyre soon and this seems to be an alternative to the Vredesteins.
Thanks Nigel

Dunno if toyo proxes are available in this size but if they are then I would recommend them very highly, I have them on my plus 8 (second set I've had) and they are a great tyre. Also got them via black circles.com and fitted by my tyre man locally.

the Toyo Proxes do not seem to be available in 165/80x15. Toyo 330 are, but it would be good to know how they compare with the Vredestein T-Trac2 which seem to be the most popular.
According to the tyre rating labels - and I don't know how reliable these labels are - Vredestein TT2s get E for economy, B for wet weather, and 70dB for noise. Toyo 330s get F, E, and 72 dB which would appear to be less good. Both are around the same price range which is £42-£50 per tyre (delivered but not fitted).

I can say I´m very happy with the TT2 in 165/80/15 and the main reason to take them was the wet label, the only tyre of this dimension with a "B". The Conti CT22 is also labeled "E" for wet weather like the Toyo 330. If the "E" of the Toyo 330 should describe a similar behave compared with the "E" of the CT22 I´m wondering how the Toyo 330 will perform.
