No longer drink real beer if I can help it, have become partial to a Ginger Cider or an Alcoholic Ginger Beer. I love the Peppery taste of a good Shiraz and don't drink white wine at all. When it comes to spirits, I was a bourbon man but when I gave up soft drink I decided that I would go back to a nice malt whiskey mixed with a liberal dose of ice. I have one about every month.

Not a great beer drinker here.
Wine Spirits (Rums, Vodkas) Cider Port
If you would like a decent dessert wine please don't totally write-off reds. Costco has a wonderful half bottle of red dessert wine with a silver label and red heart on it. I believe it is a Napa Valley of some sort. Not overly sweet or port like but rich.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

You're only an alcoholic if you drink more than your doctor!

I only ever drink with/after food and never before 18:00 unless it is a special occasion!
Red wine? pinot noir, merlot, cabinet sauvignon or malbec. I really don't like shiraz, at all. Don't really mind where from, other than I find that mostly I do not like wines from S Africa or Argentina. Rarely pay more than £10.00 at Majestic.
Beer? not much interest these days. Occasionally Hopback Summer Lightning or Crop Circle.
Spirits? Tallisker or Highland Park are all I need, a bottle lasts months.
Coffee: I've become a Nespresso Addict. Peter....you've taken the words out of my mouth! Although I do like the odd pint of beer as long as it's not strong. I haven't a clue about malt or hops...

Disagree with Phil Royle - Nottingham (not Derby) is the real ale capital of the country with Castle Rock and Alcazar Breweries + a few others. And here I thought it was Burton.

So did I... But I may be biased - presently wearing a Bass polo shirt.
