I have run my 1980 +8 3.9 on Librands stainless big bore manifolds, single stainless box on each side with single side exit for the last couple of years. 2inch diameter. Flames on the overrun and is really loud. I am having the boxes cut open there is nothing left in them and adding some "silencing material" at next month's annual service.
