Great run out to Kingsbridge and return along Slapton Line where an Ivory Roadster or Plus8 was coming the other way X777 MOG, huge waves from the couple.
The sea defence work at Torcross has reached completion for the moment releasing the car park once more.
Blackpool Sands had around 100 people enjoying the sunshine, nice to see the kids playing outside again.
Several on the beach at the memorial point too at Slapton.

Several on the beach at the memorial point too at Slapton. Lovely memories of talking to Ken Small alongside the Sherman at Slapton. Driving the Mog along Slapton Line could only be bettered by driving a Deuce and a half Jimmy.! Enjoy and remember.

Old Ken was a nice genuine (bit blinged up) guy that helped a lot of American relatives discover the truth of their son's whereabouts that the Government's had tried to conceal. We always remember them on Armistice Day along with the others. Is that a Detroit Jimmy ? Just Googled - there is a few of these around in Devon that were left behind and local military fans keep them going, they get an airing come the Rally season.

Lovely sunny day here- so just returned from a 30 mile jaunt around the warks lanes. Wonderful - and no whistling!!! Even better!!

Another 120 miles in the Healey today, visiting my son in Oxfordshire. Up on the A40 I spotted a couple of Mogs, another AH 3000 and a Marina with both driver and passenger waving like crazy oh and even a thumbs up from a guy on a bicycle. Nice run in the sun.
