Is it possible to have an obsession with polishing?

Tarka was looking a bit grubby, so as it was a bright and warm morning I set too with a bucket, water, lots of cloths and number of products from Meguir's.

I went a bit OTT, polishing the wheels for the first time, then working on the exhausts.

A couple of hours later I thought the car was looking good, so took a few photos with my new camera, a Canon EOS M5, fitted with the little EF-M 22mm F2 lens.

This is the front off side wheel....I

With reflections all down the side of the car....

Here is the exhaust: I've been criticised before for dirty exhausts..now although I couldn't see my face in the reflection you can see the rear tyre!!

I also drove the car today, these are photos AFTER going out!

I do like the car looking good!

Personally I'm a big elbow greaser fan, and she looks great. I've always felt that it's a sign of good design when a vehicle is pleasant to wax, and Morgans are great for this.

Cheers

Pleasant to wax with all those louvres? It's a day's work to do and I am always looking for volunteers. innocent

Frankly, Peter, I think you need a little more practice.

Henrietta now has 2,000 miles of road grime on her, so I'm prepared to allow you to hone your skills on her. rofl

Cheers !

Blackadder, I get around this by only polishing one side of the bonnet louvres and adopting the 95%/5% rule!

Cheers

I'm never sure whether to polish the paint protection film.

Looking very sparkly Peter.
