Nor me ......
Seriously, out of the hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of people involved with Morgans, you are leaving because of one person?

Morgan is about the community and friendship, not about individuale personalites. There is wonderful way of life out there.

I loved mine and wouldn't give a fig about an individual upsetting me. They won't care about losing you and you'll let that experience prevent you from enjoying all the great things ownership brings. But wish you well and you can at least stay on TM!

Arwyn +1 Helen & me touring Ireland soon. Not in the Volvo with its heated seats and gentle ride. The Morgan and only that will satisfy the pleasure dome. Graham

Wish you all the best! I would act in a similar way when upset with a business relationship.

David G,
A shame that your experience brought you to this point, I can only hope the old saying doesn't come true, i.e. "Act in haste, repent at leisure" Surely the ownership of the car backed up by a good, reliable garage should have meant more than some twit at the factory? I hope your experience with Porkers and Jaguar ( a brand I love ) are all that you hope for.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

I understand your reaction. Employees who come face to face with the customers are the public face of a company. Just as a rude waiter might make you decide never to return to an otherwise excellent restaurant, the same can be true for companies such as Morgan. We all understand that there can be faults with something we have paid for; it is very often how the company deals with those problems that will decide whether the customer will put up with it. An excellent product is not enough; the customer needs to feel valued.

I've had Porsches and Jaguars in the past and loved them - and still do. Have to say though that the Morgan just does it for me more than either car from those manufacturers. I also think the reaction to your leaving on here speaks volumes for Morgan owners and TM members specifically. All the best for the future.
(I fibbed earlier - just one Jaguar!)

Not quite the same parallel Giles, there are plenty of restaurants about offering similar things to choose from. There is only one manufacturer of Morgan, it's a question of whether the product is liked enough to make it worth putting up with an issue with one individual or indeed a lacklustre network to support it.
In a lot of cases I'd say there are quite a few TM'ers that 'put up' with less than perfect relationships in order to have and enjoy their cars. Desirability and lack of choice often come into play.
I didn't particularly like the character I bought my AH from, nor did I feel a valued customer. They had the car I wanted and to me it was just a transaction.
If the desire for the product is there it does seem a pity to me to deny all the pleasures a Morgan can bring over an issue with one individual.

Steve, Morgan are unique it's true but a Caterham it's not too far from a Mog in spirit (at least in my eyes), you AH doesn't have existing factory anymore, MMC is different for sure you can always deal with an other distributor and ignore the factory but i can understand in your mind you don't want to give them your hard earning £. It's maybe too extreme but can be understand
