The 3 wheeler is in for a service at Krazy Horse tomorrow what is the view on Blockley versus standard tyres?
I've opted from the Blockley but wondered how those using them were getting on.

I`ve got new Blockleys on my 4/4 sport - done a few miles in them plus sprint at Curborough - they stick like ****. Also they look the business and talking last week to the owner of Blockley they are overengineered as he uses them himself for racing and goes mainly by word of mouth for advertising.

I really didn't like the Avon's but am now on to my fourth pair of Blockleys. Reckon they are simply better in all ways than the Avons. There's maybe a bigger step down in grip from dry to wet with them than with the Avons but still better than them in the wet.

Mine had Blockleys from new so can't really comment but they haven't let go yet despite trying so very pleased. Can't comment on wet grip tho'.

Excelsior's are a good alternative and cheaper than Blockley's here in the states.

I much prefer the Blockleys.
A bit more grip, more precision, virtually no squealing and subjectively less understeer.
Longer lasting as well.

I use Excelsiors and am on my 2nd set. I have no complaints about the set of Blockleys that I had. I dislike the Avons. Blockley tubes are excellent and have off set metal stems which are perfect for the M3W wheels.
I seem to remember that each time I have needed tires, Excelsior had free shipping.

After all the hype, I'm a bit disappointed with the Blockleys.
I was happy with the Avons when pumped up to 30psi
