3 Zip Tonneau Cover
How to fold and use the 3 Zip Tonneau Cover.
The main advantage of the 3 zip cover is that it cause less interference with the free run of the seat belts.

The 3 zip conversion to the tonneau is so useful in many ways. Had ours done by Allon White and never looked back. Great photo's BTW

I've fitted straps to mine to allow the rolled back sections to be held above the tonneau and be kept well away from the seat belts.

I assume that the side pieces can still be used when the sidescreens are removed to keep ones kidneys warm?
Great set of piccies, very useful, thanks Peter.

Great set of piccies, very useful, thanks Peter. Absolutely! I usually have the side screens on except when going out on local roads in summer. Once you get to 100 or more the buffeting and wind noise increases dramatically with the side screens off.

Does the tonneau keep the rain out when the side screens are on, please? That's the idea I have never tried it in the rain because, other than a very light passing shower, I always put the hood up. When the side screens are on the part of the cover that normally clips over the door is simply tucked down inside the door. This would mean that the rain would run down the inside of the door and wet everything in you map pockets before soaking the carpets In any case I don't suppose the zips are 100% waterproof either. For more protection I use a light cockpit storm cover from Phoenix Design Services . It is designed to function with the hood up or down and I often use it just when parking somewhere to keep prying eyes out of the car. I suppose that by taking the sidescreen off, then clipping down the cover, and putting the sidescreen back on you may be able to make it more watertight but I have never tried it.

How much are these covers If you have cover it is fairly easy to get a local auto upholstery guy to fit the extra two zips. If not you would have to get a cover custom made. Each Morgan is slightly different and there is no guarantee that a cover made for one car would suit yours. I have heard of covers that have been made without the studs being fitted and then the owner fitted the studs (that were supplied with the cover) himself, or had them fitted locally. There are a couple of suppliers in the UK who could do this for you. If you need more detailed photos let me know in a PM and I can email them to you.
