So, I'm the odd one out then!! Iv'e never used them and only touch them to clean the bugs off. I've never used mine either - I had them fitted to both Morgans because I thought the car looked better with them. But I don't use them.

The sun never seems to be in the right place to use them Mine are always in the right place because they are fixed with 2 suction cups (DIY). I use them in autumn when the sun is low in the afternoon. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/240140/3

They do also work as giving a bit more rain deflection as well when used as wind deflectors
Saved me from getting wet tootling along in light rain when I hired a 4 Seater from the factory with sun visors
Used them as rain deflectors the other day coming home from Snowdonia through several showers. Worked a treat. Other than that I would prefer not to have them as they effectively "thicken" the windscreen top rail which is close to my line of vision with my seat in the perfect position. I have to adjust it to quite a rakish angle to compensate. Seating position similar to a kid in a Corsa with baseball cap the wrong way round and stereo on full blast.

yes, yes yes, did not have them on my 4/4 but as my more recent Plus 4 has all mod cons it has them....I use them a lot
