I've had the "Noddy" comment as well, quite liked it. Not sure I was that impressed when in my Mini a little girl pointed and said " Look Mummy it's a toy car". Hmmmmm

Just point out that Kens car was a Porsche not a Morgan.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I had exactly the same thought when I watched a red Ferrari with a driver in his 70's at least, driving slowly through Sidmouth a couple of years back, what actually made me think that wasn't the car, but the 25year old dolly bird in short skirt sitting in the passenger seat, and I'm sure she was not his grandaughter either.

Anyone locals might know?

Never had any "old git" type comments. Despite the beard and greying hair.
A couple of "is it a kitcar".
Youngsters often shout "cool car" or "great car" " I want that car" etc..
Many shout asking to sound the horn too. I need to get my Klaxon horn fitted for fun. Lots of waves and photos taken.
It is great to hear so many actually recognising the car as a Morgan as you drive past. They are also magnets when parked, more so than other cars I think.
Of the cars I have had the Mog is the only one that entices me to just go for a drive "for the hell of it".

Strange isn't it, I've driven quite a lot of exotica over the years but never had the pleasant comments that people make about the Morgan.
People have thanked me for making their day for seeing such a lovely car.
I feel I was more likely to come back to a key scratch down the side of the Astons, Jags etc. (or am I just getting deluded)

I don't think you are deluded...my experience with the Plus 8 is that it makes people smile: I've never had a negative comment, or gesture!
It is part of the pleasure of owning a Morgan!
