To new members of TM; John's "poverty model" comment is a reference to a post a number of years ago and not an insult.

A TMer at the time referred to 4/4s as poverty models.

However, Stanley wears the badge with pride and has the full poverty spec (fewer louvres, no exterior door handles). Though he does have full bumpers and a spare wheel, unlike some modern ne'er-do-wells.

Bud, Stanley is a lovely car when seen in the metal as are all Mogs. The ethos is the same even if the owners are carefull!
