Steve, what a stunning looking motor, I can understand fully why you've made this move, it looks brilliant and I hope you have years of fun with it.

Having owned a few bare ali Caterhams you soon get used to looking after the finish on it and it does set it apart from other cars.

I'm only a fortnight in to Morgan ownership with my little 4/4 80th and I'm loving the stress free experience its giving, first time in recent years 115bhp has been enough grin2 However I can see the allure of that lovely 3.7 lump and may well follow you if and when the Sigma experience wears thin.

In fact I did have a wobble on the Oakmere Roadster before I handed over the cash for my 4/4. Saving grace was I kept the Elise Cup for if I wanted to have hoon and a speed hit in the future and thought the 4/4 and Motorsport Elise would compliment one another.

Problem is I've not sat in the CUP since I got the Mog and your stunning car has now got me fidgety again.

Well done mate, a cracker thumbs

Steve,

I have only just caught up on everything having been busy elsewhere for a while.
I am SO pleased that you are not leaving the fold. I was worried that you might be after reading about Neil's (Roadster Boy) decision.
Moving up to a Roadster sounds a good decision, and by the sound of it one you will not regret.

I'll stick with the entry level model for now; I can't justify moving up for some years to come yet. Maybe a 65th birthday present to self?

Trust me, there's nowt wrong with the 4/4 as a model..!

We may laugh between ourselves on here, but the Morgan world and TM in particular is free from the 'hierarchy snobbishness' that can affect so many other motoring forums and clubs.

It matters not what your choice is, or indeed what colour it is, the power of the marque binds people.

Long may it be so..!

Looking like car collection date is either Thursday or Friday next week, now so best order some alloy cleaner in..

And more sunny

It's just clicked now though - having sold off the VW Van, you needed an alternative way to keep up with the Trump? grin2

Hey Steve what a great choice of Roadster.

She looks just sooo smart!

I do love the Brooklands edition too.

Look forward to seeing her in the flesh soon!
