Being a POMMY down under, I enjoy the enviable reputation of the presumed "I only wash once a year brigade".
To keep my reputation intact I satisfy the unreasonable needs of my immediate neighbours, by taking "Ruby", to the Taree car wash.
Once there, I strip off and jump into the hood-less car.
I proceed slowly through the wash, standing up when the orange light comes on ( for a streak free wax and rinse) arms flaying in all directions, really enjoying the experience.
I can see daylight and proceed to the final multi jet spray and wipe, I bribed the attendant for a hot final and it gets the carpets sparkling clean, but a little soggy.
I too am sparkling clean. So is Ruby.
I drive onto the grass and open the doors, watering the fauna with 100 gallons of warm water.
This is better than taking "Ruby" to the local creek and standing in cold water, doing our ablutions. Yabbies biting my toes and mossies my bum.
