I saw a video quite some time ago and at the beginning they gave the usual specs. They had the front to rear weight was stated at 61% front and 39% rear.

As far as the engine alone goes I know that I can move my Shovelhead motor and my 113" EVO motor by myself. I highly doubt the S&S goes over 200#.

Believe it or not, with full tanks and two humans, it's 50/50.

Let's see, Premium gasoline is 6.350 pounds per gallon at 12 gal. is 76.2 LB. How much do you and your wife weigh?

Don't have one of those but the average weight of an America woman is 160 ( yeah... we're obese). Hmmmm.... thought water was 8lbs / gallon. Gas is lighter? Pretty sure Morgan claims 50/50 with a full load of fuel and humanity. That 400 some pounds back there seems very plausible

Yes, water is around 8#/US gallon and gas/oil is just over 6#/US gallon.

That's why water is always at the bottom of a gas tank or oil tank.

Years ago I was on our lake and I saw a guy in a small aluminium boat and he had flipped it over. There wasn't any floatation in the boat under the seats, too old of a boat. I think he had a little Mercury MK15 on the back and had the gas line routed under all the seats so he could put the 6 gallon tank up in the bow.

With the tank line being ran under the seat, that was the only thing that was keeping his boat from sinking to the bottom of the lake. We got out to him with a pontoon boat and pulled it up on the front and tipped it back over and towed him back into shore.

Ironically, he was the old grouchy constable on the lake that gave us kids in small boats and hydroplanes a hard time.
