To some extent accurate; Bill Fink did import plus 8s and convert them to run on propane for some years while the standard model didn't pass the US emission regs and it was too expensive for Morgan to put cars through the necessary testing. Not sure where the guy got the idea that a propane tank is particularly dangerous though.

Propane tank is where the petrol tank is, in front of the chassis cross member. I don't think Morgans are prone to explode in rear end collisions like Pinto's were.
