I managed to trawl through all 56 cars on the site.

In the process I was offered the opportunity to test the iPhone 8! Malware indeed.

For those with more sense and less time than me, there are a good number of UK cars among the 56 listed: Bond Bug, MGA Twin Cam, V12 E type, Lotus Elite, Aston Martin Lagonda and Jag X type. Somehow they missed the Marina.

Which hangs behind the rear bumper?

That's awful. I suspect a bot at it's worst.

I read through the list of cars. Some strange reasons for including some of them. I got the impression the author had trawled to get some info and then compiled his list, with a lack of better investigation.I don't get the impression he is a knowlegable motoring journalist/author.
Last year I saw an article on Gizmag website about Morgans. Again poorly researched and misleading. I emailed them to correct and was told that some contributors were not always knowledgable! They accepted articles without real in-depth checking of accuracy etc..
This list looks similarly composed.

The main goal of most of these sites now is to generate advertising clicks for revenue. The more people who visit your site the better. What do people respond to? Top fake news. Quizzes. Challenges. Top 10 lists.

So now companies build these "click-bait" lists and crummy quizzes.

All of these things are written for a one week shelf life before being replaced by fresh bait. They hold no value other than attracting you yo allow the adverts to be put around the quizz etc.

The company is called outbrain - what else do we need to know.
