I have an old 4/4, a 'real Morgan' as my Roadster owning friend calls it so I wasn't aware of the 'modern errors' in the article. But it's still a positive review and I guess the Pistonhead audience is mostly young so it might inspire them. I was 20 when I bought my car.

Perhaps it's clever grammar, did I wait, in order to long?
I agree with most of the rest, with the exception of the top speed. I don't believe for one minute that my 4/4 could manage 115mph. If it did, on the roads I use, the first bump would eject the driver with such a force, they'd require a parachute!

I would disagree with the comment about the lack of feel from the steering. OK its not quite Lotus but its a damn sight nearer than almost any other car I have driven. Its excellent.

An "organ pedal" throttle pedal is an option. That would be accurately described as floor hinged.

 I must admit if ever I got to 115 in mine, I have visions of parts and bits of body flying off to the point where I'm sat on a chair, clothes ripped off, hanging on the steering wheel on a bare rolling chassis staring with bloodshot eyes at an exposed engine

An "organ pedal" throttle pedal is an option. That would be accurately described as floor hinged. That's true Dave, but it's drive by wire now and if its like the Plus4, an organ pedal wouldn't fit without a serious re-design. The roller throttle is no more.............

115 mph in my 4/4  As for Organ Pedals, never really liked them. I don't feel you get the same throttle control on bumpy surfaces.

115 is most likely optimistic but I did more than 105mph on mine, confirmed by GPS. I was not brave enough to push further...

Hannes I also ran out of brave pills when 100 appeared on my very optimistic 4/4 speedo. Realistically this would have been about 90mph but with some more pills I think I could have made it to a genuine 100  Will we ever grow up?
