The July 2017 edition arrived, with a new look, simpler, cleaner. I like it.

Agree 100% Soo much better have emailed PeterC to say congrats. Great article x DaveW as well! I really do think that Miscellany is now a class leading Club Mag.To be proud of in fact. Not easy to achieve this extent of change - so round of applause all round!

Agreed! At last, Miscellany has a professional look about it. And the font makes it so much more readable. Well done team.

Some background: Last year the National Committee agreed change was needed: for 3 reasons: 1. To secure production: producing in house meant that if one or two people became unable to work there would be no magazine. 2. To have professional design support: Charles Neil is a great Editor, but not a graphic designer 3. To make the Magazine easily compatible with the new website, also under development. What you see is the result of Charles working with Offstone Publishing. I for one am delighted, both with the new Magazine but also the new website. Well done to all! (I'm also chuffed to bits that I played a small part in getting both the website and the New Miscellany up and running.) And to those who rejected change and complained that the Club wasn't what it used to be and shouldn't be a business, well in your world.

Agreed - a much better mag this month. But remember if you are an MSCC member that it relies on you sending in articles & photos and to do that we need to get our Mogs out of the garage and do something interesting in them worth writing about!
