A dealer has an ARP4 on Dealer Auction if any Dealers are interested.

That would be my guess too. Dealers attempted to keep Joe Public out of auctions like Mannheim and BCA often bidding against the public to ramp the prices up. So it wouldnt surprise me if they had tried to get an auction limited to the trade.

If anyone's interested in a bargain I suggest they commit to the car and offer Henry £2k more than he can get it for.
Some manufacturers offer their dealer network access to "auction" vehicles. I've been offered a Jaguar on a similar basis to my above suggestion.
There are also trade only auctions of a more general nature.
