That looks shiny sparkly Graham is it new? Or are you a concourse mower! Wonder if the Lawnmower Racing Association has concours classes? 
Blimey that is shiny shiny Graham very nice.
New for the beginning of this season. Couldn't get the needed parts for the old Tecumseh engine on my 25 y.o. Mountfield. So, splashed out on a new Honda Izy. Not quite so clean now  Been an expensive year, though at least the 90's cam belt didn't cost as much as I was expecting! Monday's bill on the 4/4 might be interesting...

Three hours out in mine earlier..nice round trip to the North Cotswolds and home via smaller roads, all with roof down in order to listen to that lovely V6 exhaust..

Finally got to drive the Morgan today, if only for a 5 mile roadtest after finishing repairs. Even more fun than I remembered.
The electric fuel pump installed by the previous owner quit about a month ago, and it's taken this long get new parts and do the job. Moved the pump from near the engine to back by the tank where it belongs. Also wired it up correctly with a relay, and when it arrives on Monday I'll install an impact sensor for safety.
Also want to install an oil pressure safety switch - but the mixture of pipe threads (BSP, BSPP, NPT)is slowing me down.

Its a bit of a drug the sound of the exhaust ! Yes, got to admit it, I love the sound of mine at high revs. Once you are past 5k rpm it howls like a banshee all the way to the red line at 7k. Marvellous.

Maybe we should introduce a sound meter test at the next big TM gathering , remembered this from the TVR meets !
