Maybe we should introduce a sound meter test at the next big TM gathering , remembered this from the TVR meets ! Castle Combe track day pre run sound check I was disappointed that Tarka managed just 86db at 4000 rpm. This is exactly the same as the figure on the V5c......

A business opportunity? Sound system with a selection of car exhaust sounds to select. Linked to the car speed. I hope, though, that the objectors don't push for soundmeters at the roadside like safety cameras! In these times I wouldn't be surprised. One method of collecting fuel duty losses due to loss of revenue as petrol/disel disappears.

Its a bit of a drug the sound of the exhaust ! Well, they do call it tuning.

Put the front end of the Mog up on axel stands, took the badge bar with all the badges off (just bored and fancied a declutteted front end change), greased the suspension with my new grease gun and took her out for a drive Handling felt a bit odd so brought her back in after half an hours drive only to discover the tyre pressures were all over the place
