Great engine but challenging style............
You see one occasionally on a classic run, and to be honest they look better now than when they were new. I recall that "Spot-On" did an SP250.

I had a friend in the 70's who was repairing and rebuilding the V8 in Daimler Darts in London. Even then 40 years ago they were tough to keep on the road.

And the doors on the Series I used to fly open under enthusiastic cornering, as the chassis was not up to it and flexed!  I think that it was sorted for the Series II.

a chap where I go to church drives a white one, sounds great [just as you would expect, engine designer Edward Turner was responsible for Triumph 500/650 twins as well as Ariel square four ]
