The Guy who tweets as SpeedMonkey also writes reviews, this is the LINK to the report he wrote about the Plus 8 in March 2014. I'm not sure when he drove it, possibly earlier in the year. Note that at that point the car was unregistered, that happened in early April, and it has the old style wheel and no paddle shift. That work was done early in 2014. I bought the car at the end of October 2014. I blame Aeroman, because I'd gone up to see the SP1 Reveal and on a cold wet afternoon Mark Leddington persuaded me to take the Plus 8 out. The rest is, as they say, history. I rember it well Peter.........you loved the car and hated the colour! The rest is history 🤓

What rumoured hybrid, then, Peter??? Well, what else will they do with the £6m government grant ? Has to be a hybrid of some sort. An Eco friendly factory and roof garden?

Four AAs were never going to be enough.
A Duratec colour scheme would be quite amusing. Copper coloured nose with black body.
