It tickles me that the Scuderia closest to the camera is in Rosso Corsa and not the standard Rosso Scuderia. Improves the car too. My son will never let me forget that I passed on one in that spec when they were a lot less expensive than they are now. Apparently the 'lamest' decision I ever made.

If you're going for the 4/4, nimble and light is the added attraction, so no extra claptrap or you'll spoil the main ingredient, ( he says. as he munches through a packet of biscuits).
Don't be put off by the nine studded hood either, it's a work of art and simple to use. Being fully removable has many benefits too.
The only thing I would change is the pedal layout and length of legroom, but that's the same on all the models.
Colours, I must be the most boring guy here. All the cars I have are the poster colour versions. When I try to be bold with colour, I look more like The joker than the batman.

Full width bumpers, wing lights, walnut dash, spots, wires, rack, badge bar, moto lita wheel, Le Mans fuel filler, bonnet strap, tonneau, fold down screen with aeros... Definitely no p/steer, automatic or air con nonsense and personally I'd keep the suspension as is. But then I'm old (school)  That must be why you switched to a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mk3

Intresting topic, espically seeing as no 2 Morgans are the same, or at least shouldn't be.
Personally i dont think metallics suit the trads and prefer painted or leather covered dash finish.
The second comment blowing the idea of The Morgan Centenary Roadster and the 43 cars on our Register right out of the park.
I wonder why they still seem to continue to attract so much attention ?

No offence was intended - i actually think the Roadster 100s look great - i was admiring one on the Allon-white website just last night.
As KR200 said it would be boring if we all liked the same.
As an aside - i think the clear indicators on the front roaster look really good.

I'm really enjoying the simplicity and basic qualities that make up in my mind a sports car but equally accept that we are all different. I have just taken delivery of a new tin top for work and although it has every gizmo including a self opening boot when you wiggle your left foot under the car when arriving with both hands full of shopping! BUT it is so dam boring to drive. The AH may not have much beyond a lovely engine in a lovely body (to my mind anyway) but you certainly know you are driving. I was quite happy with the factory set up on my plus 4, the limitations of my driving didn't require anything more but others of course could easily want 'better' kit.

I told Mrs SBM that my Beemer had that gimmick...everytime she waggled her foot under the bumper, "someone" pressed the button on the key fob in their pocket..
I had to tell her at the supermarket as I was bursting with laughter..
Getting back on task for a moment, I'm going through the same process in my head about my bikes. Simple is good, but to lose the push button and go part..? Hmmm..

I think it was only my Ducati that had that luxury..no I tell a lie. My Commando was electric start but then never usable when cold. I must admit the swinging away to get some of my old Velos going in full kit and helmet wasn't great fun, especially the KSS which could bite, the thought of being able to press a button an go can be a good one. So far apart from the occasion of forgetting to put the kill switch in the right place  my RE has been an easy kick starter.

I cannot stand red cars! Nothing looks more uninspiring than a row of Ferraris's in "resale" red with obligatory crema leather interior. So monotonous and beyond boring by "playing it safe must watch values" Same goes for Porsche guards red and Alfa's in rosso red. I'm not a fan of Morgans in "flat cap" spec. As in chrome/stainless wheels. I don't like the spare on the back no matter how practical. Metallics don't really suit trads IMPHO. Coloured piping on seats is a huge no no too! Also do not like wooden dashes! I prefer the slim styling of the original 4/4. I have no idea who specc'd this 4/4 but it has the look of an 80's yuppie 911 3.2 Carrera who specced it whilst on an illegal substance! https://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/dealer/le...tre-sigma-2016/FYI I have a 4/4 sport grey 2012 with no frills or anything! Minimalism and simplicity is the way forwards! However I concede beauty is in the eyes of the "beer holder"...!! I really love this spec and colour. Is what I would spec but I would add a front valance as well. But being 30 im probably on the much younger side of the spectrum with regards morgan ownership.
