Leaving the hood up in the garage/storage might be better. I wouldn't do anything else. Also helps the shrinkage issue in cold weather.

The 2 luggage rack brackets mark my hood when folded down, they mark the rear window, I didn't know what was causing it until weeks after. It's really annoying!

As a temporary measure I now have to fold a towel under the hood to stop it from damaging further, but I need a more permanent solution, if anyone has ideas ?

I thought it was only the four seaters that had towel rail luggage racks Craig smile

I have no idea Richard, it was already fitted to the car when I purchased it in April

I'd just apply a bit of neoprene over the brackets Craig. You could finish it off with a bit of leather to match the interior. If you are at the factory on Friday for the pre RFTH tours, you could ask the tour guides for a bit. I'm sure SBM would oblige.....or even me!

Very good idea, but unfortunately I am unable to attend RFTH, but if I ever get the chance to visit the factory I will kindly ask for a small piece of Tan leather
