This is at idle:

My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee has this symptom. From what I read it is the IAC that is causing the problem. I have ordered a new IAC. We will see if this cures the problem.

I installed a new IAC this morning, as well as a new air filter element. After a short test it looks like Problem Solved. Idle is steady. There was a lot of carbon on the IAC as well as a dirty air filter. 144,000 miles on the engine. So far so good.
