You can bring up an app called "Marine traffic" on your computer. Have a look at the strait of Malacca. It looks like you can step from ship to ship. The problem with the strait is that there are many ships "parked" out there waiting for a cargo. They do this to avoid the port charges they would accumulate if the were sitting at a pier.

No they were locals. Only saw the footprints (barefeet) but I've not seen such long toes - made up 1/3rd of footprint. I have related the story here some time ago...

Pirates in this area are no joke and very real, a friend of mine was delivering a large Swan (yacht ) back to Europe a few years back when they noticed on radar during the night two small open boats coming at them from the stern quarter, at dawn the boats were there with guns signalling the yacht to stop. They then fired a shot so my friend got out his RPG and let one go broadly towards the boats -they swerved off looking for less well armed yachts. Friend and the two other crew very shaky with throttle hard down for a day or two....

Lets see if there is a third shall we. Once is an error Twice is careless Third time means that there is some change to SOP going on that they do not wish to talk about. Same class of floaty thing and seems a little too similar in my mind.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
