So today is the day I get to collect my new 3 wheeler. I placed my order late February of this year and at the time was expecting a September build with October delivery so am one of the lucky few whereby Morgan have exceeded expectations on delivery dates ...
Just about to jump on the train to take me from Harrogate to Lincolnshire to collect from the amazing Phil and Joyce at Ledgerwood Morgan then drive back across the Yorkshire wolds hopefully dodging the showers...I had a very brief test drive in a 3 wheeler over the summer but this will be my first journey of any distance. Wish me luck and will post some pictures later today assuming everything goes to plan.

All the best

Keith

Enjoy it Keith!
For me it felt very special, but I'm still in my honeymoon after taking delivery of my Plus 4 last week.
Felt very proud driving home.

I'm sure you will too.

Have done short trips every day up to now (weather permitting).
The joy and pride has not reduced a bit yet smile

Bought my 4/4 from them in 2014..very nice people to deal with and have it serviced there...first mot looming Nov 2017.

His technicians (both called Neil cos Phil can only remember one name !!) are first class and very good for setting up cars as both are successful MX5 competitors.

First class service from Ledgerwood Morgan today - my 3 wheeler was prepped to a high standard and apart from a further adjustment to the pedal box was ready to go.

60 mile drive home has given me an opportunity to get a feel for things. Very very happy with the entire experience - it's different to my last car - a 911....but drives great. Initial impressions - the steering/front end initially felt vague and the brakes average but soon got used to both, can't see the key range of the rev counter ( blocked by the steering wheel) and the fuel gauge has a mind of it's own but all part of the charm.
First stop for petrol and was immediately approached by a guy who wanted a picture of the car and another how just wanted to ask about it - never had that in the 911..

So end of day 1 and everything going to plan. Heading to the lakes tomorrow to try and get a few miles in before winter.

Q - how do I add pictures direct from an IPad ??
