Big money is no surety of driving talent, just think about the new money people we have heard or read about that buy a plane or helicopter and end up crashing them. Sad but true.

Was there a car manufacturer in the old days that insisted on a high speed driving course before you could drive it away their performance models.

The beauty of driving more modestly powered cars is that when I have exceeded the envelope it was possible to recover.
Like gross understeer or snap oversteer or an unexpected four wheel drift.
