I`ve gone and bought an Old timer horn, Should i use this through a relay.
Holden have lots at not a lot of cash.
There are one or two drivers out there that have these horns fitted. how have you wired them?

I have a non STD steering wheel with a horn button, so i wired up the transmitter to that, works well for me.

Assume you mean a motor driven awoogah horn. These take a fair amount of current so a relay driven by your original horn circuit would be a good idea. Recommend one rated at 30 amps with quench diode to avoid any transients messing up ECU, especially as this type is used elsewhere on car.

You can take the main power feed for horn from fuse 18 (15 amp) which also feeds power socket and intercom. If the latter is not fitted it's convenient to tap into the flying lead that would otherwise feed this. The lead can be found below fuse box.
