It's an interesting exercise, this. If you buy a car from a dealer, they retain all your contact details for their purposes. Same if you book in for a service or buy something from them such as an accessory or similar.
I'd be pretty certain that the dealer will retain those details quite close to their corporate chest, and not disclose them to the factory so unless the factory have dealt with you directly, I'm not sure how they will obtain your details..? Thats what i thought but i got the letter as well last week. I also wondered what the dealers would make of it but guessed Morgan were just trying to make every pound they could - natural enough i guess and a nice ( if expensive) option for service work. It didn't mention warranty work however!! Oh yes, silly me - thats what dealers are for........ No idea where they got my details but happy to receive it all the same. Mentioned me as avalued customer which is always good to read. I too will stay with Allon white or BHM - both are superb
2015 Morgan 4/4 (Wolf fettled) previously 2014 M3W MINI Cooper S and numerous BMC/BL relics.

My details are/were in Miscellany.
Didn't we fill a form in at Run for the Hills on the Friday factory open day for a raffle or has my memory made that up?

Filled one in at Berrybrook for the raffle - I guess all dealers had a raffle on that Dealer Open Day? Not had a letter though - might have something to do with showing an interest in a 280SL...

My letter arrived yesterday (Sunday).
The house number wasn't visible through the window envelope. Usually the postie rips the edge but this one was pushed through 'who knows which' house number.
I found it at tea time, and oddly one corner was wet...........
I guess they all do that, even though it hadn't rained.

No letter for me, and I’m still under warranty too, but like Steve said, how will they have my details if I purchased (nearly new) from Williams.

Hello Chaps,
Well I'm now certain that someone at the factory looks at Talk Mog. I received a letter in the post today saying that the original letter was sent in error and would I please maintain my relationship with my existing dealer ( Krazy Horse )
What is going on???
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Further to the previous, I have just noticed that, despite my address being in Norfolk, the letter had a post code for Ipswich namely IP32 6NU. Is that anyone on here?
