OK Simon, but how do you keep your trousers up if your using the cord for the bonnet.... innocent

James: It was a problem before I was given a second piece of cord last Christmas.
Until then, I had to ensure that Susie was with me to hold my trousers up, prior to opening the bonnet.

- now that's a mental picture to behold laugh

Not sure about 'elf and safety' though rtm - you stretching to open/fix the bonnet and Susie holding your trews up..... pantsdown

I would have thought that you would use the two straw catchers from your ankles tied together to save any embarassment.

Many thanks, all!

I think that Sally has ordered a pair of Wolf stays from BHM as an Xmas pressie, but they seem to be ‘on back order’.........

Hence the thought about the alternatives.

I get the impression that it’ll be worth waiting, and, in the meantime, try to avoid opening the bonnet when it’s windy.
