Yes quite. I have received both letters. It should have taken someone with an ounce of common sense, under a second to realise the first should never have been sent. Suggesting dealer's customers should go elsewhere for their servicing would incense me if I were a dealer. I assume someone had words.

Not in my wildest dreams did I think the post about the receipt of a simple letter would generate so much interest.
Like you all, I will be staying with my dealer but maybe now Morgan will send each of us a complimentary watch to say sorry as I don't think they can have sold many at £1000 premium for a badge on the standard "Classic" C Ward watch.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

Not in my wildest dreams did I think the post about the receipt of a simple letter would generate so much interest.
Like you all, I will be staying with my dealer but maybe now Morgan will send each of us a complimentary watch to say sorry as I don't think they can have sold many at £1000 premium for a badge on the standard "Classic" C Ward watch. Good idea. Our local dealer has certainly been tucked up with all sorts of accessories: watches, sunglasses etc As I have yet to receive any MMC letters, I will await instruction to visit the dealer.

Despite the fact that I have never bought a new Morgan, nor ever used any of the servicing facilities offered either by any of the Morgan dealer network or the factory itself, I find myself deeply traumatised. I could, however, possibly recover if MMC were to give me that lovely blue roadster once they get it back from that Seen Through Glass geezer...

I’ve had a third letter offering me a free service, a loan of an Aero for the day, a night for two, full board, in the Malvern hotel and complimentary, his and hers Morgan flying jackets for the journey home with petrol money in the pockets.
Oh no!
It also says, “as long as you don’t tell anyone else about it”
