Don't forget the Essex Nuveau Riche wine

Or the good people of Wilmslow !!

There is rather a good Annie Tempest Cartoon of the Royal Oak in Crockham Hill (near Westerham in kent). Very apt. Everyone I know round there either drives a Rangie or a Disco.

I'd be interested in what howard considers a classy car. If it's not a Range Rover (and clearly not a Ferrari! Ferrari!) then I'm at a loss I'm afraid.

I appreciate they sometimes fall into the wrong hands, but a Range Rover is far more classy than the Porsche or BMW equivalents, for example.

Yes, bit of a minefield to be fair, and more than a little subjective. Also, if you have to ask...

Interesting you link to Doug DeMuro - see his views of his Range Rover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvJCCoLoKRA&ytbChannel=null . He likes the guarantee though!

But back to my thesis which is that if I had half a million to spend on a car(s) I wouldnt spend it on several souped up JLR cars. Dont get me wrong - I like the F type a lot. But it isnt as "special " as an Aston, a Ferrari or even a lambo, so thats where my half million would go.

But since I dont have that half million, I would certainly consider buying an F type.

Got to agree with para 2

But Howard, I haven't told you what his other cars in his collection are!!

I only mentioned the JLR ONES, as the subject was about the Project 8
